About Us
Dr David Mitzner is passionate about helping people in attaining their goals in health, fitness and quality of life. His philosophy is that each patient is an unique individual which a requires a specific individualized plan of treatment utilizing all resources available including Conventional, Functional, Nutritional and Alternative medicine.
Dr. Mitzner is a Board Certified Osteopathic Family Physician, educator and lecturer. He is a former Category II (two-time national championship qualifier) competitive cyclist who went on to graduate second in his class from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City Missouri in 1989. Dr. Mitzner served his internship at Pacific Hospital in Long Beach and completed his residency training in family practice at Riverside General Hospital Medical Center in Riverside, California in 1992.
Dr. Mitzner is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He's been in private practice in the Murrieta /Temecula region of southern California since 1994. He is on active medical staff of both Inland Valley Regional Medical Center in Wildomar California as well as Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta California. He has served as the chairman of the Department of Family Practice for Southwest Health Care System from January 2004 through December of 2005, as well as a past medical director for Nation's Health-Care Hospice and more recently Ramona VNA Hospice.
Dr. Mitzner has been a lecturer to both physicians and the general public on cost effective medicine and a variety of topics regarding treatment of disease and health management as well as having been involved with the training of medical students and physician assistants via his affiliation with the Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona California.
Dr. Mitzner enjoys an active outdoor life with his three children, and still remains active in cycling. He resides locally in the Temecula / Murrieta Valley.
